1) Role: Windows Administrator

2) Experience Level - 10 to 12 Years.

3) Shift Timings - 6:30pm IST to 3:30 am IST / American ShiftsPosition Summary: Client is looking for a qualified Windows Admin with 10+ years' experience of working for companies in related fields.

The candidate is responsible for effective installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of Windows systems.Responsibilities:

· 10+ years of service provider technical support of enterprise Windows environments with domains, multiple sites and centralized services

· Proven track record of working, managing Microsoft, VMware, and cloud environment.

· Hands-on experience with Microsoft, VMware tools & technologies and industry best practices.

· Performance analysis and tuning of VMware infrastructure.

· Creation, migration, cloning, snapshots, backup, recovery and troubleshooting of Virtual machines.

· Experience in P2V, V-Motion and VMware virtual center.

· Good hands-on command line of ESX.

· Good hands-on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server environment.

· Good understanding of HA and DRS environment.

· Documentation on process & procedure

· Good to Have Skills: Advanced certifications related to Microsoft, VMware.

· Experience with Microsoft Arc, Defender, Intune, Data dog and best practices and emerging trends in identity governance and administration.

· Ability to adapt and knowledge to of hybrid environments (On prem & cloud).

· Coordination and Follow up with Multiple Vendors like MS, Dell etc.

Desired Skills & Experience:

1. Strong knowledge of Window operating systems.

2. Must have Hands-on Experience on MS cluster including Configuration and Maintenance.

3. Must have Hands-on Experience on IIS Web Services.

4. Must Have Hands-on Experience on CA and SSL Certificate.

5. Proficient in Power shell scripting.

6. Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or KVM.

7. Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and services, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.

8. Knowledge of storage technologies, such as RAID, SAN, and NAS.

9. Understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures on Window systems.

10. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.

11. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

12. Strong communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

13. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Atlassian Expertise: Provide in-depth technical support, troubleshooting complex issues across Jira (Software, Service Management), Confluence, and Crowd.
• Customization and Configuration: Customize JIRA and Confluence to meet the specific needs of our organization, including creating JIRA projects/queries/reports, and configuring workflows and custom fields, issue types, and permission schemes.
• User Training and Support: Provide training, comprehensive documentation, and support to users to ensure they can effectively use JIRA and Confluence for project management, issue tracking, collaboration, and information sharing.
• Operation and Management: collaborate within an operational team, adept at swiftly responding to diverse issues with a robust understanding of various areas of computer science and web application technologies.
• Documentation and Troubleshooting: Maintain documentation for JIRA and Confluence configurations, customizations, and integrations. Identify and resolve issues and errors within JIRA and Confluence, working closely with the IT and support teams.
• Upgrade and security patches: Perform upgrades and apply security patches to Data Center versions of Jira, Confluence, and Crowd within a clustered environment.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor the performance of JIRA and Confluence and implement optimizations as needed to ensure system stability and efficiency.
• Plugin/add-on Development: Develop custom plugins and extensions for JIRA and Confluence to enhance functionality and meet business requirements.
• Security and Compliance: Configure and maintain JIRA, Confluence, and Crowd following security and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in customizing and configuring JIRA (Software and Service Management), Jira Workflow, Confluence, and Crowd. 5 or more years of relevant job experience in a large-scale (3000+ users) enterprise-level environment (data center version, not cloud version)
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in various areas of computer science, web application development, network, security, and user experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills including user support and documentation.
• Exceptional teamwork and the ability to engage stakeholders at every level, guided by leadership direction and in strict adherence to company policies.
• Experience with Groovy scripting (ScriptRunner app) and Atlassian REST APIs.
• Linux system administration skills.
• Database management expertise, including advanced SQL proficiency.
• Experience with plugin development using technologies like Atlassian SDK, Java, JavaScript, and REST APIs
